The infamous town of books, Hay-on-Wye is close by, so get here in late spring for the legendary Hay Festival, attracting 100,000-plus visitors over 11 days to meet some of the world’s great artists and to chat about everything books. Keep the culture coming and arrive in August for the Brecon Jazz Festival and the ever-growing Green Man Festival.
