Countryside serenity meets modern living

Ludbrook Stables is the fabulous, cosy annexe attached to Ludbrook Manor. Perfect for a small group of 6, it rises over Dartmoor and from the room balconies you can spy the Salcombe Coast. Enjoy the gardens, indoor heated pool and tennis court all to yourselves. An exceptional opportunity to enjoy larger than life luxury.

Pool & gardens

Ludbrook Stables has eight acres of beautiful grounds and orchards for you to explore to your heart’s content.

There is an indoor heated swimming pool, with marble tiles and mood lighting. There is a comfortable sitting area poolside for you to relax and the large French doors open up to the adjoining garden and Japanese style lake with arched bridges to the central island.

That’s not all, you are spoilt for choice at Ludbrook Stables. Set up a match on the tennis court, get your pawns ready on the giant chess set, or just enjoy the nearby walking and cycling paths.

Of the three immaculately designed bedrooms, all are en-suite with underfloor heating. Two are accessed via a spiral staircase and feature a sun terrace overlooking this beautiful South Hams countryside. One is on the ground floor, just off from the open-plan living space.

Downstairs, the plush sofas are inviting and ideal for curling up in front of the log-burning fire. Switch on the TV and surf through the Sky cable package for the perfect family film, cook up a storm in the kitchen and dine around the oak table for 8. Step outside through the bi-fold doors and take in the greenery of this amazing Devon estate.

''I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how much we all enjoyed our stay at Ludbrook Stables. It is a truly special place and our time there was over far too quickly. We're all still talking about it, this is the fourth time we've all been away together and everyone agreed it was the best!'' - Jo

Between the moors and the sea

Between the moors and the sea, you’ll be torn between the golden beaches and hidden coves around the coast and the wooded valleys, tumbling rivers and granite tors of Dartmoor. Potter the pretty streets of Ivybridge and Totnes, take a boat trip, learn to ski or surf. Or just wander down the lane for a pint in the pub.
