Newcross Cottage is a happy chunk of sandstoned splendour taking up a large portion of Cumbria in the private grounds of Newcross Hall. A sense of peace hangs in the atmosphere and there’s a feeling of bijou luxury inside the three-bed cottage.

The master bedroom comes with en-suite and antique-oak bed. Reception-room floors are oak and stone. The vast kitchen is handmade in oak. Antique furniture abounds. Outside, front and rear gardens lead to the archery lawn. Take a stroll around the walled garden, pick fruit in the walled Victorian garden or bring your wellies and lark about in the stream in the private woodland gardens of Newcross Hall.
