Entertainment area? Oh yes. Sort out your supper on the barbecue or pizza oven, eat on the bar stools around the table, and stay out there under the stars for marshmallows around the firepit. Or head into the garden cabin (with loo) to raid the bar (without last orders) and catch matches and movies on the big-screen TV.
Living spaces at four-storey Felsted House come pretty clearly defined. Head down to the basement for your daily workout in the gym, equipped with Peloton, treadmill, free weights, pull-up bar, punching bag and balancing ball. And stay down there for rummaging through the reading matter in the library.
There’s a games room down there, too. Host the Felsted Mini-Olympics around the pool table, foosball table, table tennis, dartboard, board games and games console. Head out to the garden cabin for pizza, barbies, firepit and big-screen TV. Or just get together for games in the living room in front of cosy logburner flames.
Never miss a beat or a box set in the lounge with its full Sky package, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Now TV. Taunt your friends on Instagram with ‘How’s your Monday?’ teases over the superfast broadband. Recharge your social battery on the easy chairs on the landing.
Whip up wonderful meals on the Rangemaster and Miele steam oven, or around the garden cabin on the pizza oven or gas barbecue. Or don’t. Have a word about hiring our private chefs for a one-off knees-up, drop-off meals or fully catered break. Or take the five-minute walk to The Swan Inn and The Chequers in the village.
Stock up the American-style fridge-freezer with good stuff from the Co-op, Tesco and Sainsbury’s or take a three-minute walk to Linsell’s of Felsted. Get your meat from Sweetland’s Butchers and your fizz from Luckin’s Wine Store. Enjoy takeaway treats from Jalsa Ghar in Great Dunmow, The Hub Farm Shop and The Stores.
Head out to The White Hart at Stebbing for pub favourites or to The Angel and Harp for pork belly, steak in ale pie and plenty of gluten-free options. Or try The Compasses for freshly prepared food sourced from the local butcher, fishmonger and greengrocer and a specials board that changes every week.
