Whatever the occasion we have an incredible house for you
Spanning an astonishing 350 miles, the Essex coastline is one of the largest in the country. And yet, its beautiful beaches and picturesque villages are still one of Great Britain’s best kept secrets. With mysterious saltmarshes, breathtaking scenery and hidden tidal inlets, the Essex coast certainly has a lot to offer its visitors.
Amongst its coastal gems, lies the idyllic Osea Island, located off the coast of Heybridge Basin. This secluded island is an idyllic refuge offering peace and tranquillity, and stunning views across the Blackwater Estuary. It features 4.5 miles of private beaches, 550 acres of gardens and is a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife.
Based in the estuary of the River Blackwater, Osea Island is a must-see attraction of visitors – and is a luxury holiday resort in its own right. To add to its charm, the island can only be accessed via boat or the ancient Roman causeway, passable for just 4 hours each day.
