For the grown ups

Strap up your boots for lots of lovely walks around Frampton, with maps provided, even if it’s just around the picture-postcard village green complete with duck pond. Finish up with a pint in The Bell Inn. Or ask us about guest passes for sailing, open-water swimming and tennis in the village.

At The Cyder House, the pampering can come to you when you call up Cotswold Spa for mobile treatments that include deep-tissue massages, back massages and luxurious facials. Or amp up the action as a social climber at The Warehouse Climbing Centre, or go off-road on four legs with Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre.

Reward your hard work with a distillery tour at 6 o’clock Gin or a visit to Woodchester Wine Tasting, with its English white, rosé and red planted on three vineyard sites in the Cotswolds. Kit yourself out for the countryside at Ian Coley Country. Then bag yourself a clay pigeon or two at the Ian Coley Shooting School.

Go Ape among the trees in the Forest of Dean. Come back down to Earth with 18 holes on the stunningly picturesque Cotswold Edge Golf Club. Hop back into history at Gloucester Cathedral and Berkeley Castle. Or come in the autumn for the Cheltenham Literary Festival or in March for the Cheltenham Festival.
