Pirates, parties and Padstow

Summon up a chef and get the party started. To clear the head, pedal the Camel Trail, fish the harbour at Padstow, surf the breakers, sail the estuary or walk the coastal path. Dine at Rick Stein’s, sup in a piratical pub or just dig out the buckets and spades.

Cornish Coast

Low tide reveals a sandy beach with rock pools to explore at Booby’s Bay; at high tide the beach is completely reclaimed by the sea. Constantine Bay beach lies to its immediate south.

The South West Coast Path provides good cliff walking opportunities, linking Booby’s Bay to nearby beaches such as those in Mother Ivey’s Bay and Treyarnon Bay, and around Trevose Head, all of which form part of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Constantine Bay beach is a long, sandy beach only a few miles from one of Cornwall’s most popular holiday resorts – Padstow. Located on Cornwall’s rugged north, Atlantic coast, it is a popular destination for surfers and walkers alike.

Treyarnon Bay is a popular spot for families and often provides good surfing conditions. It sits in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As it enters the Atlantic, at either side of the beach are rocky areas with rock pools to explore at low tides.
