Set a new lap record on Karttak’s 550-metre circuit. Visit one of the country’s smallest museums at Mundesley. Discover military vehicles, weapons and militaria from the 20th century and the Cold War period at Norfolk Tank Museum. Play the craziest golf ever at Mr Mulligan’s. Or watch seals basking at Blakeney Point on a Temple’s boat ride.
Pop through the back garden gate and you’re straight onto the Norfolk Coastal Path or down to the beach at Mundesley. So pack your boots and your bathing costumes. If that’s not chill enough, head out for massages, manicures and pedicures at The Spa Barnham Broom, Bannatyne’s or The Spa at Dunston Hall.
Get out to Poppyland Brewery in Cromer to hear all about their small-batch beer, gin and vodka production. Or to Wildcraft Brewery in Norwich for craft beer, coffee and pies. Walk it all off on glorious golf courses at Mundesley, Royal Cromer and Weston Park, or just with the crazy version on the front at Mundesley.
Potter the Norfolk lanes on bikes from Woods Cycle Hire or Aylsham Cycle Centre. Tackle the army-style assault course or quad-bike trekking at exTREEme Adventure. See the coast like a drone does on a Saxon helicopter ride. Or fish for cod, whiting, dab and flounder with East Anglia Sea Angling in Mundesley.
Hire your gear and learn to ride the waves at the Glide Surf School or Jim’s Surf Shack. Try water-skiing or wakeboarding on a freshwater lake with Norwich Water Ski Club. Take it a bit easier with Summer Stand-up Paddleboards. Or head back into history at
Norwich Cathedral, St Benet’s Abbey or Baconsthorpe Castle.
