Explore Dartmouth Castle, guarding the Dart Estuary for over 600 years. It’s one of the most picturesquely sited fortresses in England.
Overbecks Museum and Garden has lovely exotic gardens. Explore the banana garden, meander through the towering purple echiums or relax beneath palms.
Enjoy a day of fun for all the family at Woodlands Leisure Park. There is an excellent variety of indoor and outdoor playzones for all ages and around 500 animals at the Zoo and a superb Falconry Centre.

Totnes
Head over to Totnes and explore the art galleries, unique boutique and independent shops. A hotspot for good food, Totnes had four fantastic independent butchers and range of fresh fruit and veg stores. There is also a range of excellent vegan, vegetarian and health food stores and restaurants available to try. Totnes hosts some great local markets including, the Totnes market every Friday and Saturday, good food market 3rd Sunday of every month and Christmas night markets – Tues 3rd, 10th, 17th December. Cornworthy and surrounding areas have many public footpaths and circular walks and are part of South Devon’s Area of outstanding natural beauty.
