The look is Scandinavian, the feel much warmer, thanks to underfloor heating and roaring logs that’ll put an instant crackle in the atmosphere. Outside, your own private garden stands ready for cricket and croquet duty before it blends with the nature trails and woodlands of the 300-acre estate and morphs into the Malverns.

At bedtime, you’ll all sleep like woodland logs in two king size bedrooms, which can be made up as twins. There’s a luxury king size and a double that converts to twins in a jiffy with the zip-and-link system. You can revitalise in the morning in the luxury shower. Hollybush Barn is a little patch of clover where everyone can live high on the hog.
