You can sit on the patio to simply enjoy the fresh country air, or enjoy a dip in the hot tub with a glass of wine.  The Yard is all about relaxing while enjoying a very pristine and quiet part of the world.  The only noise you will hear is from mother nature as the leaves gently rustle and the occasional bird flies by.

Country Living Combined With Contemporary Style

The exterior of The Yard is a modern take on the traditional country farmhouse.  With a lot of timber on display, the home immediately feels warm and welcoming to visitors.

The building is designed to make the most of the beautiful countryside surrounding it, with large patio doors that bring light into the lounge room and dining room.  The bedrooms also incorporate skylights to let additional light in, which bounces off the lovely timber floors throughout the home.

The interiors combine the country feel of the exterior with modern sophistication and contemporary furniture.  The clean layout of the home helps visitors to relax and focus on the natural environment around them.

The Yard is a two-bedroom home that sleeps four guests.  It has a kingsize bedroom and twin bedroom which are both tastefully furnished in a contemporary style with muted colours.

 

The large kitchen has beautiful timber bench tops and a view to the garden.  It includes an electric fan oven, electric hob, dishwasher, and large refrigerator.  There is also a coal BBQ outside so you can enjoy the outdoors while cooking your meal.  The dining room has seating for four guests while the terrace has an additional table and seating.

If you don’t feel like cooking, a fantastic chef is available for a single meal or to cater your entire stay.  Drop-off meals can also be delivered and a few great restaurants are close by.

The open plan lounge room features two comfortable sofas, a 42” television with Freeview and a DVD player with DVDs.  The patio doors adjoining the lounge room lead visitors into the gardens and pristine natural environment of the Malvern Hills.

Things to Do

There are dozens of actives within a short walk or drive of The Yard.  The closest activity to the house is simply enjoying a dip in the large hot tub on a starry night.  An activity so relaxing and enjoyable that you might jump in a few times every night!

Foodies will enjoy the classic pub food, ciders and beers available from The Swan at Staunton.  The Inn at Welland features five chefs creating beautiful food including pan-seared sea trout, Aberdeen Angus fillet and Herefordshire ribeye.

There are dozens of other eateries in Cheltenham and Hereford including fine dining experiences like The Butchers Arms in Eldersfield and Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham.

There are many action-packed activities within a short driving distance including horse riding, golf, hiking, clay pigeon shooting, canoeing, rock climbing and four wheel driving.  The Prescott Speed Hill Climb and Cheltenham Racecourse also offer world-famous carnivals throughout the year. If you would like to be pampered, spa and beauty treatments can be enjoyed in-house.
