That doesn’t however mean there isn’t anything to do on your stay, with local interests of Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Dunster Castle you can easily fill up your day!

Pedington Manor

 

Situated in the Gloucestershire countryside, Pedington Manor is an elegant country house that has been impeccably restored.  Sleeping 14-20 guests, the manor is the perfect destination for dog lovers, with acres of countryside to explore — your dogs will think they are in heaven!

Interiors are very modern and chic, but still reflect the character of the building with huge oak beams on display.  Pedington Manor combines the best of both worlds, with luxurious designer furniture set within an impressive and rustic building.

There are nine bedrooms in total, two of which have ensuite bathrooms.  There are another three bathrooms located downstairs.  There is plenty to do on the estate with facilities for croquet, cricket, football, trampolining, table tennis, pool table and table football.

Hope Lodge

Hill House

 

Offering wonderful views over the Cotswolds, Hill House is a beautiful country home that sleeps 16 people.  A perfect choice for dog owners, your furry friends will have 2.5 acres of gardens to enjoy.  The home itself has a modern-contemporary style which is warm and inviting.   Large leather lounges, cream walls, exposed beams and plush furnishings are heavily featured.

Of the seven bedrooms in the property, three have ensuite bathrooms.  There is another full-sized bathroom upstairs and a WC downstairs.  The huge kitchen features two built in ovens, a gas hob, a separate electrical cooker and a gas BBQ.  For those who don’t feel like cooking, a chef and drop-in meals are available.

There are plenty of outdoor facilities to enjoy at Hill House including the large swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, cricket set, swings, trampoline and croquet set.  Up to two dogs are allowed at Hill House, sleeping in the downstairs utility room.

Oxleaze House

 

This beautifully restored country farmhouse features rustic oak beams with asian-influenced interior design.  The exposed timber hints at the age of the building while the furniture is a mix of contemporary and classical pieces.  Your dogs will love curling up in front of the huge fireplace in the lounge room after a big day out and about.

Oxleaze House features five bedrooms capable of sleeping up to ten people.  The building is surrounded by acres of undulating hills — perfect for long walks with your dogs.  The home also features a 32” flat screen television, Sky TV, an iPod dock, Sonos surround sound system and Wi-Fi Internet. Oxleaze House has four separate dining areas to choose from, with the main dining area capable of accommodating 14 guests.

Nearby attractions include country pursuits, horse riding, cycling and beauty treatments.  Your dogs will love it!
